As the CEO of SoHo Creative Studio, Michael Cinquino leads a team that helps brands transform subject matter expertise into high-impact video and podcast content that builds trust, drives authority, and accelerates growth. From strategic messaging to full-service production, SoHo makes it easy for clients to show up consistently, communicate clearly, and scale their influence—without adding to their workload.
Michael is the creator of Drop the Act—a bold communication philosophy and upcoming book that challenges the polished, performative way most people show up in business, relationships, and life. He helps leaders, founders, and creatives drop the act, stop performing, and start participating—so they can be seen, heard, and felt. His work empowers clients to ditch the script, step into real presence, and connect with emotional clarity and impact.
With over 20 years of experience in performance, communication coaching, and storytelling, Michael’s background includes seven years of conservatory actor training, extensive work in photography and filmmaking, and a current pursuit of a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University, where he focuses on applied psychology, neuroscience, and behavior change.
Michael is also a professor of business communication at the University of New Hampshire’s Paul College of Business and Economics, where he teaches future leaders how to communicate with presence, confidence, and human connection. He hosts The Performance Edge Podcast, where he explores what it takes to stop performing, start participating, and show up for real—in work, relationships, and the moments that matter most.
